Overview
This document outlines the additional requirements and refinements for Day 2 of the hackathon. These enhancements focus on extending core functionalities and enabling collaborative features to enrich user and organization interactions.
Core Enhancements
1. Sharable Profiles and Posts
- User Profiles: Each user profile will have a unique, shareable URL.
- Startup Profiles: Startup profiles will also be accessible via unique URLs.
- Posts: Individual posts will have shareable links for external access.
2. Enhanced Organization Management
- Joining Organizations:
- Users can request to join multiple startup organizations.
- User profiles will list all organizations they are associated with, linked to the respective startup profiles.
- Organization Roles and Permissions:
- Roles:
- Owner: Can invite users via invite links or email and accept/reject join requests. Multiple owners allowed. Cannot remove other owners.
- Editor: Can make posts on behalf of the organization and manage content but cannot remove users.
- Viewer: Read-only access to organization details.
- Position Assignment: Assign specific positions to users, e.g., "Product Manager" or "HR Specialist."
- Roles:
- Employee Section: Displays all associated users, their roles, and positions.
3. Service-Based Startup - Project Portfolio
- Project Portfolio: A dedicated section showcasing the organization’s work.
- Posts made on behalf of the organization can be added to this section and link back to the original post.
4. Product-Based Startup - Product Showcase
- Product Showcase: Displays products using Product Cards.
- Product Card Details: Optional image, title, description, and retail price.
5. Hybrid Startups
- Hybrid startups will include both:
- Project Portfolio.
- Product Showcase.
6. Updated Startup Profile Structure
- Startup profiles will include:
- Basic details: Logo, name, description, industries, funding raised.
- Timeline section.
- Posts section.
- Products section (if applicable).
- Project Portfolio section (if applicable).
- Employee section.
